I remember being fascinated by the Italian language, the cuisine and the unique history and culture of Italy and its heritage since I was quite young. It was only natural that later in life my fascination translated into beginning to study the language and then getting a degree in Italian philology. 

Unintentionally, knowing the language and the culture, I became a bridge between my home country and Italy. I chose to work for Paysafe because its company culture and its way of doing business appeals to me. Everyone is ready to help and support you. There are always people who you can learn from. This really motivates me to do my best.

For the last four years I have been studying PR at New Bulgarian University. I have been with Paysafe for almost five years now and have grown since I joined. I spent almost 3 years working as a Senior Customer Relations Executive with Spanish and English and was dealing with more complicated cases and customers on a daily basis. Not only did this improve my communication and language skills, but it also helped me become more patient and a better professional.

Recently I have been promoted to a Customer Relations Team Leader. My main goal is to make sure that my direct reports feel supported in order to provide top-notch service to our customers. I am trying to pass on my knowledge and expertise as much as possible and help my team members upskill and develop further within the company.

I chose Paysafe because I love working in a dynamic environment. And trust me, Paysafe is everything but boring.

I have joined the Paysafe team in Bulgaria back in 2017. At first, I had close to no knowledge about Paysafe. However, after what was the most relaxing and enjoyable interview ever, I unexpectedly met an old friend in the corridor outside the interview room. I grew up in a town near Sofia and graduated in German at a local high school. German language, history and culture have been a big part of my life ever since.

However, I decided to stay in Bulgaria, because it’s my home. And I believe that home is where you feel happy.

I chose to work in Customer Services at Paysafe because of the nature of the job. It’s dynamic, and I learn all the time. We also get the chance to develop skills in how to communicate with people, not only over the phone but also face to face, and this is the best way to get to know yourself and others.

Living and working in Bulgaria as a Customer Service Agent with English for years was a good experience but joining Paysafe was like a dream come through. I have always wanted to be part of a global team with smart, young, motivated people which is what Paysafe is about.

The Customer Service group I joined in March 2020 went through the first virtual onboarding experience for me and the trainers, but it was handled seamlessly and professionally. We were provided with all the work tools needed for the training in no time and everything was organized professionally.

In Paysafe everyone is ready to help and support you. There are always people who you can learn from. This really motivates me to do my best and it also helps me to understand people better and to be more professional with my job.

Meet the VIP Team

For me, being part of a global company as Paysafe for over four years is not just an experience, it is a journey, an adventure. Here I have the opportunity to grow as person and move my career up to another level. 

I have started my Paysafe career as a VIP Onboarding Executive. Within two years I was promoted to a Senior VIP Onboarding Executive. Currently I am VIP Team Leader in the same team my journey began with.

My current position is giving me the chance to improve my leadership skill and support my teammates. I am also involved in the hiring and onboarding processes.

To be around smart, young, motivated people is empowering and creates a unique environment.

There’s always something new and exciting happening. Every day is different from the previous one. It’s a challenge but at the end of it I can see it’s been worthy.

Ever since a young age, English has been my window to the big world out there. Because of it, I had the chance to grow and develop myself in the global environment, not the secluded one around me.
